The fourth week of the Kwara Coding & Digital Literacy Programme saw significant progress in student comprehension and practical application across topics including Python, web development, and Innovation Thinking. Participants displayed growing confidence in problem-solving and digital creativity, mastering concepts such as data structures, logic statements, and interactive design.
A historic highlight was the unscheduled visit of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, to the United Community Junior Secondary School in Taiwo Isale, Ilorin. The Governor engaged directly with students and instructors, inquiring about course content and participating in photo sessions—symbolizing the administration’s deep commitment to tech-driven human capital development.
In a related development, the Office of the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, led by Hon. Ishola Kayode, also conducted oversight visits to several schools across Kwara Central. These visits reinforced the government’s hands-on monitoring approach, ensuring instructional quality and alignment with the programme’s objectives.
Despite the holiday period, attendance remained strong across all centers. These sessions emphasized both technical skills and design thinking.
Enhanced monitoring—including unannounced inspections and virtual check-ins—ensured accountability without disrupting instruction, reflecting the government’s consistent commitment to quality assurance.
As Week 4 concluded, the programme further demonstrated its role as a transformative investment in Kwara’s youth, equipping them with relevant skills for the digital economy and aligning with the vision of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON.
