The program is an initiative of the Kwara State Government under the leadership of Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, aimed at fostering digital inclusion, innovation, and youth empowerment.
2. Held Across 36 Public Schools
This holiday edition is being implemented in 36 public secondary schools across the 16 Local Government Areas.
3. Registration and Onboarding
Participants are students in the schools or centres who have been onboarded since the programme’s expansion in February 2025. The Summer Edition is a continuation of their registration track, and no new registrations are being accepted during this phase.
4. Continuation of an Ongoing Initiative
This edition builds on the February 2025 expansion of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Program to over 50 public schools, reinforcing the state’s commitment to tech education.
5. Focus on Innovation Thinking & Tech Skills
Students are trained in Web Development and Python Programming, along with innovation thinking sessions that challenge them to build solutions to real-world problems using technology.
6. Strong Participation Numbers
Over 5,700 students have already enrolled out of the 7,500 targeted, showing massive interest and support from communities across the state.
7. Duration & Timing
The Summer Holiday Edition began on Monday, August 4, 2025, and runs throughout the school holiday period, offering daily sessions across the various centers.
8. Monitored by Government Teams
A joint monitoring team involving officials from the Ministries of Education, Business Innovation and Technology, Office of the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, and senatorial supervisors oversees the program’s implementation and quality.

Parents, guardians, and local leaders have applauded the program, calling it a transformative opportunity that prepares young Kwarans for the digital economy.
