The fourth week, 3rd Term of the 2026 Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme reflected the steady growth of participating students. Beyond classroom instruction, the week highlighted how learners are successfully transitioning from introductory exposure to confident, hands-on engagement with advanced digital tools.

Across participating centres, students actively explored key technology areas including programming, web development, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Learners practiced fundamental Python concepts, experimented with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and strengthened their understanding of safe, responsible internet practices.

The week also presented a crucial opportunity for performance measurement through the ongoing pre-evaluation exercise. This assessment allowed students to demonstrate knowledge gained, while providing instructors with key insights into retention levels and areas requiring reinforcement as the programme advances.

In line with efforts to sustain premium quality delivery, facilitators participated in a rigorous Training of Trainers session on Friday, May 22, 2026. The engagement strengthened instructional capacity and reinforced the commitment to building a sustainable digital ecosystem.
This strategic training initiative ensures that instructors remain aligned with global tech education standards. It equips them with advanced methodologies necessary to effectively guide students through the complex coding and digital literacy modules slated for the upcoming weeks.

We express our profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, whose visionary support continues to create life-changing opportunities for young people to thrive within the rapidly evolving global digital economy.
