The 2026 Summer Edition of the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme advanced into Week Six, with learners across participating centres intensifying project development, practical programming, and preparations for the upcoming Grand Exhibition.
The week featured practical lessons in Python file handling, Python libraries, nested loops, pandas DataFrame functions, CSS Flexbox, online safety, and online student registration forms. Learners also continued practising and developing their projects, applying previously acquired digital skills to practical solutions.
Project development remained a major focus, with learners engaging in project practice, presentations, and exhibition preparations. These activities are strengthening their creativity, problem-solving abilities, collaboration, and confidence in developing technology-based solutions.
A key feature of the week was the physical evaluation conducted by WTEC across participating centres, providing an opportunity to assess learners’ progress, understanding, and practical application of the skills acquired throughout the programme. A virtual monitoring session was also conducted at one centre to review progress with learners, teachers, and instructors.
Under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, the programme continues to equip young people across Kwara State with relevant, practical, and future-ready digital skills.
