Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme Leaps Further in Progress With Outstanding Week Seven Activities

As the programme spins further into mid-June, the 2026 Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme leaps further with even more transformative delivery in Week Seven of the Third Term, featuring students across participating centres improving on their digital and technical competencies through up-to-date, high-demand skill training, which is executed with engaging practical sessions.

During the seventh week, students took a step forward in their exploration of the ethical and efficient use of Artificial Intelligence tools, and also how to leverage these technologies to enhance their understanding of certain potent programming languages such as Python through its fundamentals. They also continued their improvement learning on the essentials of early cybersecurity, such as authenticating Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Python modules, and many more.

These security awareness activities are critical in understanding protection principles essential for responsible digital citizenship, regardless of location or residence. A major highlight of the week was the Instructors’ Engagement Meeting for instructors, technical teams, and other stakeholders. The meeting is aimed at reviewing the progress of the program, providing important updates, and discussing any gaps or challenges that may require attention to ensure effective program delivery.

Another notable activity is the Needs Assessment Call, which is a call for reports of various needs, challenges ,manpower and technical deficits, and other issues that may be affecting the smooth running of training sessions in different participating centers.
In the background of these activities, the Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions were conducted in their scheduled consistency.

These needs assessment, training sessions and operations are essential to the smooth coordination and overall success of the program.
