The Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme commenced Week One activities on October 7 and 8, 2026, with learners across participating centres focusing on practical project development, revision of previous lessons, and preparations for the upcoming programme exhibition.
Throughout the week, learners engaged in hands-on project activities, applying the programming and digital skills they had acquired to develop their projects. Training sessions also focused on revising previously covered topics, particularly Python programming concepts, to strengthen learners’ understanding and improve their ability to implement these concepts in their projects.

At some centres, newly enrolled learners participated in orientation sessions and introductions to the programme, coding activities, and the exhibition project. These sessions provided an opportunity for the students to understand the programme’s objectives and prepare for active participation in the learning and project development process.
Project presentation and exhibition preparation remained central to the week’s activities. Learners continued refining their projects, reviewing relevant concepts, and preparing to present their work. These activities are designed to build their confidence, creativity, critical-thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills while encouraging them to apply technology to practical challenges.

The continued emphasis on project development and revision demonstrates the programme’s commitment to practical, learner-centred digital education. Through consistent guidance from instructors, learners are strengthening their technical knowledge and developing the skills needed to showcase their achievements at the forthcoming exhibition.
