Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme Week Two Emphasises Innovation Thinking and Exhibition Preparations

The Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme continued Week Two activities with learners across participating centres focusing on innovation thinking, Python programming, project development, and preparations for the forthcoming programme exhibition.

Throughout the week, learners explored innovation thinking and the real-world applications of Python programming, gaining insights into how technology can be used to address practical challenges. Training sessions also covered the use of variables and basic data types in Python, strengthening learners’ understanding of fundamental programming concepts.

Project development and exhibition preparation remained central to the week’s activities. Learners engaged in project preparation exercises, applying the knowledge and skills acquired during their training to refine their work. Selected student representatives also participated in project presentation rehearsals to improve their confidence and prepare to showcase their projects at the forthcoming exhibition.

The activities reflect the programme’s commitment to practical, learner-centred digital education, equipping students with technical knowledge, creativity, critical-thinking abilities, and problem-solving skills while encouraging them to explore innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
