The Kwara State Government, through the Office of the Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, will host the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Exhibition 2025, a premier event celebrating the transformative impact of the state’s investment in youth and technology.
Scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, Ilorin, the exhibition will spotlight innovative projects developed by students who have participated in the landmark Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme. The event will be graced by His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
The exhibition represents the culmination of a journey that began in February 2025, empowering hundreds of students from over 50 schools across 16 local government areas with hands-on skills in coding, Innovative Thinking and web development.
“The success of this programme is already resonating beyond our state,” said Hon Ishola Kayode. “Our students’ recent achievement—where the Igbaja Agritech Mini innovation emerged among the top three winners at the National Kids Innovation Challenge in Lagos—demonstrates the world-class talent and creativity we are nurturing right here in Kwara.”
The event will feature:
– Live project demonstrations of apps, and digital solutions
– Interactive sessions with industry experts and innovators
– Networking opportunities for students, mentors, and tech stakeholders.
This exhibition is a cornerstone of the state government’s vision to building a digitally fluent and innovative generation, ready to contribute to the local and global tech economy.
Members of the public, tech enthusiasts, and industry stakeholders are invited to attend and witness the promising future of technology, built by Kwara’s youth.
