As artificial intelligence continues to reshape global industries and redefine the future of work, professionals, entrepreneurs, and creators are facing a critical imperative to adapt. To address this paradigm shift, Kwara Digital Pulse (KDP) is hosting a high-impact virtual session titled “Thriving in the AI Era: Skills, Opportunities, and Strategies for the Future of Work.”
Scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 8:00 PM WAT via X Space (@DigitalKwara), the forum moves past theoretical AI concepts to deliver practical pathways for career growth, business innovation, and digital relevance. The initiative directly mirrors the vision of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, to establish the state as Nigeria’s premier hub for digital talent and technology-driven economic growth.

Commenting on the significance of the upcoming session, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Innovation, Hon. Kayode Ishola, emphasized that artificial intelligence should be viewed as an equalizer and an accelerator for local talent rather than a threat to employment.
“AI is not here to replace human ingenuity; it is here to amplify it. Through platforms like the Kwara Digital Pulse, our goal is to move our youth and professionals away from anxiety and toward active execution. By equipping Kwarans with the right upskilling strategies, we are ensuring that our local workforce does not just witness the digital economy from the sidelines but actively drives it.” He said.

To provide a comprehensive roadmap, the event features a diverse panel of industry experts:
Saheed Olowo (Talent Development Manager & Corporate Leadership Specialist): Drawing from extensive tech and telecom experience, Olowo will dissect strategic upskilling, workplace evolution, and how professionals can remain indispensable in an increasingly automated market.
Mubar Dauda (Data & AI Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Trainer, and Programme Lead at Africa AI Hub): Dauda will provide technical insights on building AI capabilities, effective data utilization, and implementing high-value solutions within African enterprises.
Firdaous Isiaq (Tech Content Creator & Digital Storyteller): Isiaq will explore the critical intersection of ethical communication and purposeful visibility, highlighting storytelling as a uniquely human strength that distinguishes individuals from intelligent machines.

The Kwara State Government invites professionals, creators, entrepreneurs, and students to join this crucial conversation. Participants can engage directly with the panelists on X Space by following @DigitalKwara and using the hashtag #KwaraDigitalPulse.
