During Week Two of the 2026 Summer Edition, the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme maintained its momentum across participating public schools in Kwara State, enabling students to deepen their practical digital skills through hands on learning.
Building on the revision and foundational work of Week One, Week Two saw participants advance into more applied and project based learning, with facilitators tailoring sessions to each school’s pace and progress. Activities spanned Python programming, web development, Excel data analysis, and JavaScript fundamentals, building School Timetable Chatbots on Scratch, and improving the use of AI as a coding assistant, among others things.
Python programming dominated the week’s activities, with strong emphasis on lists, data structures, and core fundamentals such as conditional statements, loops and variables.
Under the leadership of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, the Kwara Coding and Digital Literacy Programme continues to record strong results. The office of the SSA on Digital Innovations sincerely appreciates his consistent support and investment, which are equipping young people with future ready skills and expanding opportunities across Kwara State.
